About Me
I am a first-year PhD student in Statistics & Computer Science at Bocconi University, advised by Hugo Lavenant.
I obtained my BSc and MSc in Mathematics from University of Pavia.
Research interests: I am currently working on variational problems involving Sinkhorn divergences, with motivations from machine learning and numerical analysis.
More broadly, I am interested in optimal transport, especially in the use of tools from the calculus of variations, gradient flows and differential geometry to study problems arising in statistics, optimization, and machine learning.
